Mistletoe Wishes

Mistletoe Wishes

by Sasha Marshall

Out of the frying pan…and into the fire?

Stella Black needs a place to hide out from her ex. Mistletoe Creek is just the place to start over. And for once the universe smiles on Stella and gives her the perfect job opportunity.

If she can overlook the nerve-wracking interview.

And her sexy-as-sin new boss.

Kashton Saint is no saint at all. He lives fast and hard. He does what he wants and doesn’t think twice about anyone else. And the small town charm? More like claustrophobia for the village bad boy.

He needs to make it through his current case without strangling his client, and he needs Stella’s assistance for the duration.

If he can ignore her gorgeous red lips.

And the way she looks underneath the mistletoe.

How hard can it be for two people to ignore their attraction and the presence of mistletoe?

Mistletoe Wishes by Sasha Marshall is such a charming holiday escape! From the first quirky and humorous meeting between Stella and Kashton, I was hooked. The small-town vibes of Mistletoe Creek, Tennessee, feel so cozy, and the witty banter between the characters brought so much life and fun to the story. It’s the perfect mix of sweet and sassy—just what I needed for a holiday read. This novella gave me all the warm, festive feels without dragging on. The characters are lovable, the romance is swoon-worthy, and at just over 100 pages, it’s the perfect size for curling up with a cup of hot cocoa. If you’re looking for something light, fun, and heartwarming to put you in the holiday spirit, this is the one! I can’t wait to see what Sasha Marshall writes next!

This book is hilarious, I laughed so hard. The banter between Kash and Stella is so good and their chemistry is off the charts. She comes to mistletoe to escape an abusive relationship while Kash refuses to have a serious relationship. I do have to say Matilda is my favorite character out of the whole book. She is a sassy and bad mamajama, who doesn’t play around.

If you are craving a well-rounded Christmas themed story this is one you need to grab. This story was complex with moments of laughter, sadness, spice, angst, and HEA vibes. I loved that you start off with the most awkward way to meet your new boss..him naked and coming off a bender, and it only gets better from there. I mean these characters are hilarious but they have some real life painful moments they each are trying to hide or run away from. Stella is feisty but self-conscious and fearful at times but when she believes in something she stands her ground. She gives Kash the kick he needs to become a better man than he has been. Their relationship is a quick tension filled will they won't they vibe until the lines blur and feelings emerge. Kash was hilarious from the start and you get this fun party guy vibe from him but as his story also progresses you find out he is only trying to hide his emotional scars behind that character he has perfected over the years. With his heart on the line and wanting to be that guy for Stella he's ready to bare his heart for his girl now but insecurities have him hesitant to jump in completely. All I can say is if you want a book that pulls you in with some crazy laughs and gives you an emotional roller coaster of real-life moments to finding a HEA then I highly recommend this one! It was the perfect mix of amazing characters and great world building that keeps you glued till the end. Overall: 5/☆☆☆☆☆ Spice: 🌶🌶+
