The Ballad of Us
Reader Reviews
"“She saved my life by letting me save myself.” Wow. Emotional. Real. Beautifully written- and proof I still have a heart. I already knew Sasha Marshall could write, but The Ballad of Us is on another level. A stunning, gut-punch of a story that’s still lingering with me long after I turned the last page. This isn’t just a rockstar romance, it’s The Ballad of why the fuck am I crying at 4 a.m. and why do I like it so much? A powerful second-chance rockstar romance, The Ballad of Us delivers heartbreak and healing in equal measure. Gray and Rhea’s story is about having the courage to let go, not because you’ve stopped caring, but because you still love deeply. It’s about fighting for yourself, rebuilding trust, and learning how to love again. Two people with traumatic pasts, healing in completely different ways, somehow finding their way back to the love that never really left… it was beautiful to watch unfold. Beyond Gray and Rhea, this story shows how family, love, and acceptance come in many forms. The small-town Georgia setting and its unforgettable characters make this world feel alive. Sometimes, it’s about learning when to let go of what you thought you wanted, so you can hold on to what really matters. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ highly recommend Sasha, you gave second-chance rockstar romance a whole new meaning with this one."

False Start
Reader Reviews
"This one is staying with me! This is the first book I have loved that involved cheating from one of the main characters. I think the trick is making sure the readers know immediately that it has happened and Sasha does a great job of letting us know from the beginning. She alternates telling their story as it is happening along with flashbacks so we can see how they fell in love. Had the book been written according to the timeline i would not have been able to enjoy it. My heart hurt for both of them because you could see how deeply it cut her and how much he regrets it. This is one of those books that made me ugly cry for this beautiful couple who has gone through so much. I never thought I would root for any couple to get back together after what he did. Do not miss reading this amazing emotional heartbreaking love story!"

Mistletoe Wishes
Reader Reviews
"Mistletoe Creek, Tennessee is the fictional setting of a multi-author romance series with a modern fairy tale feel. Sasha Marshall's novella, Mistletoe Wishes, with it's quirky cast of characters, fits right into this small town vibe. The story begins with possibly the craziest, most memorable 'meet cute' of any book I've read in years. Kashton 'Kash' Saint appears to be no saint at all, taking his 'after hours' activities a little too far as his new personal assistant, Stella Black, quickly discovers. She experienced more of this gorgeous man than she could have ever bargained for from the first moment they laid eyes on each other. Stella's plan is to fade into the background while hoping the past she's running from doesn't catch up with her and Mistletoe Creek seemed like the perfect place to do just that. Her new job as a paralegal assisting Kash in his law practice will be a big challenge....that man has proven himself to be quite a handful. A hot, distracting one, but Stella can handle whatever he dishes out. Kash and Stella are two broken, lonely souls who, despite first impressions, are quickly drawn into each others lives. It's easy to feel their attraction brewing, hoping they'll give into those feelings and allow something warm and wonderful to happen between them. Will they take a chance on love? I had my fingers crossed for that wish to come true. This story has a perfect blend of hot, sexy sweet and magical, with enough Christmas spirit to warm even the coldest of hearts. Sasha Marshall's addition to the Mistletoe Creek series may be a quick read, but she sure packed an amazing amount of emotion, passion and amusement into this little tale. I cracked up so many times, enjoying the witty banter between Kash, Stella and everyone else that pops up in this nosy little town. This author's signature sense of humor shines brightly in this flirty workplace romance with a few extra twists to keep you on your toes. Kash and Stella might suggest indulging in a delicious cup of hot chocolate as you curl up in your favorite reading spot while reading how their love story began. Mistletoe Wishes is the kind of book that'll pull at your hearstrings, leaving you with a smile and a warm feeling long after the last page is turned."

"OMG! This is one of the absolute best books I have ever read in all my years - and I don't say that lightly. NEVER have I laughed so hard that I peed just a little bit, cried until I couldn't see the pages anymore, and felt so many feels that I wanted to crawl inside the book and hug a character. Seriously - This is a twenty star book. It's funny, heartbreaking, endearing, honest and so well written. The plot is lightening fast. You get sucked in after a few pages and I swear you won't be able to put it down. Hardly any typos (thank you!) and a cast of characters that are so vibrant, unique, complex and vocal. I am in love with Henley. I'm girl crushing hard. She is the most bad ass heroine I have ever read. The boys in the band are equally lovable. If you're on the fence - I just don't get why - BUY THIS and get sucked into Henley Hendrix's crazy world. You will NOT be disappointed in the least!! For 18+ for sure ;) and IT'S GOOOOOOOOOOD."

There's No Crying in Rock-n-Roll

"I honestly didn't think anything could have been better than Guitar Face...well paint my face red and call me wrong! lol THIS BOOK WAS 5 FREAKING STARS AMAZING I giggled, I smiled, I laughed, I got angry, I cried, I had happy tears, and I down right sobbed. Not to mention wanting to slap a few people up side the head here and there! And that ending.... Talk about a cliffhanger. As with Guitar face, the writing in this story is impeccable. It's completely fluid and sucks you in right from the first word and will not let you go. I made the mistake of starting this book at night, needless to say I didn't get much sleep that night! All of the characters are reintroduced with a couple new ones thrown in. We also get to meet some characters only touched on before. Henley gets more and more thrown at her and not surprisingly she cracks under the weight of everything. I honestly don't think someone who's life has always been so good, and who so much came easily for, could deal with the disastrous lies and betrayals she had to face. Not to mention the repercussions of how she chooses to deal with these problems. But surviving all that can only make you stronger. Jagger, beautiful, sexy, sweet, stupid Jagger...what are we going to do with you....besides a smack up side the head!! He made mistakes, tried to fix them, gave up to soon and screwed up even more. We still love you but you're being a total donkey's behind! Please oh please redeem yourself in the next book! All the other characters have their little issues and moments as well and I'd love to see books based on some of them as well but who definitely needs his own book? KIP! Amazing, sweet, funny, loving, loyal, etc., etc., etc., KIP! He has to be the most perfect BFF character ever written! If you haven't read this series, I seriously suggest you do. I would rate both Guitar Face and There's No Crying in Rock-n-Roll: Guitar Face Series Book 2 as two of the best books written this year. I CAN NOT wait until book three comes out. Besides needed to know what happens....I need my Kip fix!!"

"OMG! I didn’t think this series could get any better but it does. You were on a constant roller coaster of feelings. I didn’t think anything more could happen to Henley but I couldn’t of been more surprised. I have never cried so much while reading a book. Her story is just heartbreaking but it’s uplifting at the same time. Henley is one of the strongest characters I’ve ever read. I just feel like these people could be your best friends and that you’re a part of the family. Can’t wait for more of Kip."

River of Deceit

"I have been devouring this crazy series for a few days now and I can't stop now. My mind is mostly blown away by all the ups and downs Henley has endured in these last few tragic and emotional years of living like the Guitar Goddess she is. Granddaughter of a rock legend, beautiful on the outside, all sass on the inside from the day she was born. These rockers and crew, all childhood friends from Macon, Georgia, formed 2 bands that having been touring together for many years now, along with their entourage of support people, also friends. Their world is unpredictably off the charts wild. Henley has had 3 great best friends in her life, boys and now men, that have always had her back, in her band and her brothers band too. They've laughed, loved and cried, made music together, lived life on the edge. Each of them has managed to let her down spectacularly in one way or another, whether they meant to or not. The end result is the same- her broken soul and heart. Feeling the music usually brings her back to center, but I really don't know how she is still standing at this point at the end of this book..maybe she isn't. She might just be broken for good. I need to find out...on to the next one I am going. I must be a glutton for angst ridden punishment."

"I wish that I could give this book more than 5 stars. I really am bad at writing reviews because I hate giving spoilers away. I will just say that after reading this book I wish that I could go back and read it again for the first time. I can already feel the book hangover starting. Kip and Henley are two of my all time favorite characters. Usually when reading you love one of the two man characters more. This is not the case with them. Henley is so strong, fierce and a total badass. While Kip has always been my favorite guy. He is so lovable and hilarious. I count down the days when Sasha writes a new book. I am so emotionally invested in this group of people that I would fight for them. That is how you know how amazing a author is. I loved this book so hard. You really have to read it."
